It’s a great time to be a Junglist in Honolulu as Pacific Jungle is very excited to announce one of the States’ most well respected and influential drum and bass producers, Random Movement, is set to play at Subphonix on Friday, April 2nd 2010!

April 2010 Subphonix Flyer w/ Random Movement

With releases out on some of the biggest labels in the biz (Innerground Records, Creative Source, Westbay Recordings, Liquid V, and CIA Records just to name a few) this guy and his tunes are no stranger to the international D’n'B scene, getting loads of air time love from Fabio & Grooverider on BBC Radio1 and Bailey on BBC 1Xtra.

If that wasn’t enough, you can catch more of this guy’s sound on the two hour weekly Bassdrive show “Random Movement Radio“, airing every Wednesday at 1PM (HST). He also produces his own podcast at RandomMovement.org where you can often catch a listen to some forthcoming unreleased tracks and keep on top of what’s to look for in the future.

November 2009 Subphonix Flyer

Pacific Jungle friend and longtime Subphonix favorite Rogue State is back in the islands to grace us with his dope beats at Subphonix on Friday, November 6th 2009. Running Translation Recordings (one of stateside Drum and Bass’ most up-and-coming labels) keeps this man quite busy, so we’re stoked that he still finds time to come out and spin for us. He should have a grip of dubs and exclusives from Translation, who have seen releases featured recently on Bailey’s BBC 1xtra internet radio show Intabeats. You don’t want to miss Rogue State!

Also, rounding out the night we’ve got DJ Toki kicking things off, getting back to some Drum & Bass after fidgeting about a lot lately. DJ Zecha is set to close the show out with a bit of the harder stuff. As usual, the vocal stylings of MC Enemy complete the evening.
